Occupy Wallstreet (Thread) - Page 3

Some people wante to become octopuses so they went to Wall Street to see if they can fulfill there dreams there. The police say nay to this incredulous idea and then conflict escalated.

And then a wizard appeared and watched with his ass eyes.

Also. I am tired.

Hey the 99%,

My name is the 1%, and I hate every single one of you. All of you are poor, lazy, no-lifes who spend every second of their day complaining how the corporations keep you down. You are everything bad in the world. Honestly, have any of you ever taken a shower? I mean, I guess it’s fun whining and complaining because of you made the wrong choices in life, but you all take to a whole new level. This is even worse than buying shares when they’re high.

Don’t be a stranger. Just hit me with your best shot. I’m pretty much perfect. I am a CEO of a multinational conglomerate, and a multi-millionaire. What jobs have you held, other than working as a barista? I almost pay no taxes, and have a high yielding diverse stock folder (the DOW just rallied 300 points; Shit was SO cash). You are all candy-asss who should go home and get a job. Thanks for listening.

Batman is the 1%
Batman is the hero the economy deserves, but not the one it needs right now.

fuck u niggas, i am the one percent.

u gots be volking to be 1.

Probably the most hypocritical and ignorant protest of our time. If you want to call it a protest.

The people who started the protest are no hypocrites nor are they ignorant. There is a significant amount of those who jumped on the bandwagon for the lulz though.

Protest is not for the purpose of becoming tools of the government, as seen here. Please don't be a tool.

Oh lol, my city ordered the Occupy protesters here to GTFO today, and the reasons to support that decision's pretty damning. For example:

On a recent site visit Mr. Ubbens noticed a strong urine odour around the port-o-lets,indicating to him that people had been urinating beside them. On visits to the Park City staff have seen a plastic bottle marked “Pee Jug” containing urine sitting on theground;

Along a whole pile of other reasons. And nothing of value was lost.

@mizlily It's easy to call them tools because you don't agree with them, but to show what they have done wrong is a little too difficult is it?

If you look at the recent news, dealing with the pepper sprayed Uni students, they are far from tools. They are simply fed up with the escalating prices of everything so they decide to protest.

As stated earlier, Occupy Wallstreet had a noble purpose. It just died in a pit when the purpose was lost when everyone is being a whiny idiot. 1% Y U NO PAY is okay, and getting the government to force the tax limit a bit higher is fine too. My problem is that everyone who has a problem goes down and starts protesting as well. Occupy -Whatever- takes pride in having no structure because they supposedly have no spokesmen or leaders, they all speak together as the 99%. Well, great idea! Now it is a mosh pit of people trying to out shout each other. PETA, we understand some of your concerns, but the clubbing baby seals isn't really the main problem here, you see we are trying to bri- Ms. Protester, I really don't need to know about your sex life, can you stop wailing? Sir, are you here to protest or to break as much public property as you can? Brat. You are 14, drop the can of beer, no, I don't think that they will lower the drinking age just for you. No, I don't think that they'll legalize drugs for recreational use.

Ohhh! We are going to make a positive difference by doing that! I just know we will! Let's accept all of these trolls as well! Yaaaay!

I live in a country where a mixed economy is in effect. We have occupy -cities-. Our economy isn't in the dumps, and we are actually doing rather well and recovering. It's not that much of a deal everyone has a right to share their voices. That's okay. What is not okay is that they are destroying city property. I'm sorry, but can you not destroy our parks or turn the entire thing into a tent city and leave your trash everywhere?? You have a point, but really? That poor tree and fountain did nothing to you. Ohh, poor store, it's the store owned by a middle class family. Did they deserve that broken window? They are causing us a hefty number in reparations, and the tax-payers are not impressed. Please don't make this into a nasty little riot when there isn't much to complain about. Nobody likes that.

... Humans...

Edit: @Yotsuba Yes. Yes I did. I cringed first, but yes.

@BboyNoblesse I was referring to the posts that's siding against the protesters.

I believe this article is a relevant to that, and a fairly interesting read in any case.

These Occpuy Protests are stupid, worse still if you disagree with them you go from one of the 99% to the 1%.
It's kinda like the 9/11 Conspiracists all over again, you don't agree with them you're the enemy.

Americas pro - active aproach to dealing with them is amazing, shame the Met isn't taking the same approach to the OLSX, the protestors over here are absoultely retarded.
One of them tried making an arguement about the roman Catholic church being a money grabbing group when the church he used in his arguement St. Pauls is a catherdral of the Chruch of England and during the latest student marches one women used OLSX protestors used the opportunity to grab the microphone to spout 9/11 conspiracies which made her look like a complete muppet.

i don't know what these people want anymore the one's in London seem to be Socialists yet as we know through history Socialism is fundamentally flawed anyways better still is the fact a month ago the OLSX website called for the Arab Spring to sweep across the UK and it was a beacon of hope to this so called "true democracy", cue to images of the Post Mubarack Egypt (Liberated Egypt) and there's still the same problem as before yet now the OLSX website condemns the Arab Spring so the point is they're contradicting themselves everyday and changing priorities based on whats going on around them and that's why i call bullshit on the Occupy movement.
